MasterChef Australia has given the world some of the best chefs. One of these renowned chefs is Chef Sandeep Patil. Well, here is some good news for all his fans and also for the people in Bengaluru. Masterchef Australia’s contestant and renowned chef Sandeep Pandit is coming to Bengaluru to host a pop-up at the famous Shangri-La. This pop-up will showcase his journey from his birthplace, Kashmir, to Australia. 

MasterChef Australia Fame Chef Sandeep Pandit Is Coming To Namma Bengaluru

Sandeep Pandit, a well-known chef and MasterChef Australia contestant, plans to visit India in May with a cuisine event at HYPE and Ssaffron at Shangri-La Bengaluru. The festival will depict Chef Pandit’s trip from Australia, where he polished his culinary abilities, back to Kashmir, his birthplace.

From May 19 through May 28 at HYPE, the pop-up will launch with an Australian barbeque showcasing Chef Pandit’s interpretation of national dishes. Ssaffron will hold a Kashmiri Koshur Thaal and Ghar Atzchun Saal from May 26 to June 4, 2023. Here, Chef Pandit will demonstrate his culinary prowess in Kashmiri Pandit cuisine using recipes that have been handed down through the family.

From Yummy Authentic Dishes To Drinks

The live BBQ, shared plates, and live counters on the barbecue pop-up menu at HYPE will include specials selected from his MasterChef Australia memories, such as Tandoori Lamb Chops, Smoked Masala Southern Red Lobster, Whole In Shell Tiger Prawns, Pulled Jackfruit Tacos, and Curry Leaf Wings, with a side of the Chef’s signature George Chutney and drinks created by his Masterchef. 

A selection of Kashmiri specialties is available at Ssaffron’s Kashmiri Koshur Thaal and Ghar Atzchun Saal. There are delicacies like Koshur Mutton Roganjosh, Koshur Dum Aloo, Syun Kaliya, Tzchaman Kaliya, and a Phirni Brulee for dessert in the Koshur Thaal, a thali lunch. 

The traditional Kashmiri Pandit dishes, including Kabargah, Nadur Monji, Kann Guchiya Pulav, Nadru Yakhni, Syun Kaliya, Shufta over Apple Custard, and Kehwa, will be served as part of the interactive buffet-on-the-table supper menu known as Ghar Atzchun Saal.
