Gyms Must Follow These Rules Issued By The Government

The government released an exhaustive set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on August 3, and all gyms are required to comply with these. Those gyms falling under containment zones will remain shut for the public. People above 65 years of age, pregnant women, people with co-morbidities, and children below the age of 10 are advised to avoid exercising in closed spaces. Also, people with oxygen saturation levels below 95 per cent will not be allowed to enter gyms.

Additionally, all gym members, visitors and staff are required to follow simple public health measures. Some of these include maintaining a distance of 6 feet, following respiratory etiquettes, frequent hand-washing, and wearing masks. Meanwhile, you can also go for home workouts with no gym equipments.

Interstate Travel During Unlock 3

The government has eased restrictions on inter-state travelling in the country. It already ruled out the usage of e-passes for travelling within the country as part of Unlock 1. However, some states are still under lockdown like Bihar, Assam, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. This means inter-state traveling will be regulated in these regions, and visitors are required to check the respective protocols issued by the state.
