1. Moti Mahal

Moti Mahal is known as the first restaurant that came into existence during the partition of India. The restaurant is so famous that Gordon Ramsay had visited it once. The place is famous for Peshawari cuisine, tandoori and butter chicken.  They are also known as the inventors of tandoori. 

2. Karim’s 

If you crave some yummy authentic Mughal cuisine, well then Karim’s is the place for you. Not only Delhites but people from different cities too swear by this place for non-vegetarian food. The restaurant was established in 1913 in Jama Masjid. The Mughlai cuisine served here is totally lip-smacking. 

3. Kwality

The restaurant was established in 1940 and offers authentic North Indian cuisine and Mughal cuisine. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted with royal, lavish and vintage decor. With a lavish dining experience, the place serves delicious food with vintage vibes. The restaurant has been serving food with love to the Delhites for over 60 years now.

4. Indian Coffee House

Indian Coffee House popularly known as ICH was established in Delhi in the year 1957 in Connaught Palace. It is one of the legendary places to eat in Delhi. The place is affordable and the decor is very minimalist and simple. It is Delhites favourite go-to place for a cup of steaming hot coffee and some delicious snacks at affordable prices.

5. Embassy Restaurant And Bar

No other restaurant in Delhi can match the prestige of the Embassy Restaurant, which opened in 1948. The restaurant is elegantly decorated, and the chicken stroganoff is outstanding. The restaurant is owned by friends from Pakistan. Many celebrities frequently visit the restaurant.
