The widely shared video on social media shows the big rhino racing after two safari vehicles with dust flying in the air. Passengers in one of the vehicles can be heard screaming as the animal comes perilously close. The safari guide tries to speed up, but the persistent rhino keeps pursuing. At one moment, it seems that the car is going to turn over as the passengers scream in fear.
This incident reminds one of the dangers of handling wildlife. While safaris offer the opportunity to see wildlife at close range, they are not without dangers, particularly in reserves such as Manas, where the wild is free to roam.
