Ahead of Ayodhya’s grand inauguration of the Ram temple on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the temple town. The reason behind his visit was the inauguration of the newly built airport and railway station. He also flagged off the new Amrit Bharat Express. Here are the highlights from Modi’s Ayodhya visit to Temple Town.

Inside PM Modi’s Ayodhya Visit

Today, Ayodhya International Airport and the renovated Ayodhya Dham intersection were officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In addition, he virtually signalled the departure of eight trains: six Vande Bharat Express trains and two Amrit Bharat trains from the station.

The prime minister told a crowd in the city that he was “just as excited” as the city of Ayodhya for the consecration of the Ram Temple on January 22. Hei was showered with flower petals by onlookers during a tour in Ayodhya. Modi also paid a visit at Ayodhya’s Lata Mangeshkar Chowk before the airport’s official opening.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the prime minister when he arrived in the shrine city early in the morning. The prime minister started his tour shortly after that, under strict security.

Speaking at a massive crowd in Ayodhya, Modi stated that the idol consecration at the Ram Temple is something that everyone in the world is excitedly anticipating—January 22, 2024. Additionally, he declared that January 22nd should be observed as Deepavali, the festival of lights, by 140 crore Indians.

Modi Also Visited Meera Manjhi’s Home, Who Is She?

As the first plane takes off from the recently constructed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya Dham, people chanted “Jai Ram, Shri Ram.” Maharishi Valmiki International Airport will soon be opened by PM Modi. ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ was being recited by passengers on the first flight to the Maharshi Valmiki Airport in Ayodhya.

Today, the inaugural aircraft from Delhi to the Maharshi Valmiki airport in Ayodhya touched down at the airport.

During his Saturday trip to Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised Meera Manjhi with a visit. Ayodhya resident Meera Manjhi, together with her spouse, in-laws, and kids, received an invitation to the inauguration ceremony. 

Sharing the video of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Meera Manjhi’s home, Union Minister Smriti Irani claimed that Meera is a beneficiary of the Ujjawala scheme, the 10th crore one.
