Starting from 1st October, you folks will be able to travel from Delhi to Shirdi via direct flights.

What Is It?

Feeling devotional? Delhiites will now be able to get from Delhi to Shirdi via a direct flight from October 1st. SpiceJet will commence flight service on the Shirdi-Delhi flight to boost religious tourism.

SpiceJet will be the only airline to provide connectivity to the temple town daily. The airline will be deploying a Boeing 737 on the sector.

The Shirdi airport will also become operational from October 1, currently, Alliance Air operates three flights – two to Hyderabad and another to Mumbai.

Shirdi boasts the famous temple dedicated to Sai Baba that receives an estimated 60,000 pilgrims every day. The direct flight will make things convenient for devotees in Delhi who wish to make a trip to this religious site.

SpiceJet flight number SG946 will depart from Delhi at 12.35 pm and land in Shirdi at 2.35 pm. The return flight from Shirdi, flight SG942 will depart from Shirdi at 3.05 pm and land in Delhi by 4.55 pm.
