140-Member Rescue Crew Assigned On Dubai Beaches By Dubai Municipality; Here’s More On This

It seems that Dubai beaches are getting their own version of Baywatch crew. Yes, the Dubai Municipality has introduced a slew of lifeguards and supervisors for ensuring the highest level of safety of beachgoers. The crew of 140 highly trained people at the public beaches in Dubai will ensure that visitors have a safe experience. Since these happen to be top attraction sites for locals and tourists alike.

140-Member Rescue Crew At Dubai Beaches

Recently, the Dubai Municipality assigned 124 lifeguards, 12 supervisors, and two assistant managers to the beaches of Dubai. A collective force of 140 people has been deployed across the Emirate. The rescue crew has been outfitted with the newest all-terrain beach vehicles. Not to mention, this also includes safety devices and equipment! Additionally, the crew has been stationed along public beaches in Dubai. According to a report by the Dubai Media Office, it was revealed that these include the stretches of Al Mamzar Beach, Jumeirah 1, 2, and 3, Umm Suqeim 1 and 2, Al Mamzar Corniche, Al Sufouh, El Shorouq, and Jebel Ali. As it happens, the development comes in line with the authority’s efforts for ensuring optimal safety standards for visitors at Dubai beaches.

They Will Ensure The Highest Safety Of Beachgoers

The move hardly comes as a surprise, since Dubai beaches happen to be a top tourist attraction spot. According to a quote by the Director Of Public Beaches & Waterways Management Department at Dubai Municipality, Eng. Ibrahim Mohammad Juma, these rescue teams will work from sunrise to sunset and around the clock at the beaches that feature night swimming for monitoring and ensuring the highest levels of security for beachgoers. Moreover, it’s worth mentioning, that these rescue teams are highly qualified and regularly trained for ensuring the security of visitors. Not to mention, they have also been equipped with first aid equipment, the latest and innovative technology, and wireless communication devices for quick responses in case of emergency.

Additionally, Dubai Municipality also provides signboards with safety information for beach visitors. So, the next time you visit Dubai Beach, you might just stumble across this Dubai version of the Baywatch crew.
