An Air India flight faced a delay of over 3 hours after it suffered from a technical glitch. On the evening of September 26, 2023, the flight faced a technical issue at the Mumbai airport, according to a report by The Economic Times. About 250 passengers had experienced a delay yesterday due to the issue turning into a long delay.
Air India Flight Carrying 250 Passengers Suffered Tech Glitch At Mumbai Airport
The scheduled take-off time was around 4 pm on Tuesday evening. But the technical glitch interfered with all the previously made arrangements. After waiting for a long time, the passengers got to board the Air India flight at about 5:30 pm. A passenger shared some information about this unexpected delay, the ET report stated. The crew members shared about the technical glitch with the passengers. Except this, they did not provide any details to the passengers regarding the long delay and wait at the Mumbai airport.

All passengers of that flight waited for over 3 hours, that too while sitting inside the aircraft. The Dreamliner aircraft was left on the taxiway of the airport for a few hours. Then, the aircraft was towed and taken to the parking bay.
How Did The Aircraft Suffer The Technical Glitch?
The flight experienced this technical issue sometime after the pushback, shared some sources at the airline. It led to the plane standing on the taxiway for a long time. Later, it was towed and shifted to the parking bay. All the passengers onboard the aircraft were deboarded. Later, the plane was taken for inspection and checks as well. According to last night’s reports surfacing online, there were expected plans to use the same flight to carry the passengers to Delhi after 11 PM on Tuesday.

Air India has not made any official comments or statements on the technical glitch or the delay suffered by about 250 passengers at the Mumbai airport.
