In his latest reel on Instagram, Ankush talked about how this popular Japanese tea tastes like mehndi and why people should stop using it as a flavour in other dishes like ice cream and boba tea. Influencer Ankush Bahuguna took to Instagram to share his two cents about matcha. According to him, the popular Japanese tea tastes like mehndi and grass. In his video, he starts by saying “matcha bol bolke mehendi khila rahe hain humein!” In the hilarious rant, he goes on to diss the drink and also asks people to stop using it as a flavour for other dishes like ice cream and boba tea.

According to him, instead of paying a hefty price for a matcha ice cream, one should simply buy a vanilla ice cream and roll it in the grass, as the green dessert tastes like grass only. He even called out people who pretend to love this flavour. In his hilarious rant, he said these are the same people who refused to eat green veggies at home as a child but did not drink matcha to look cool.

At the end of the video, he even shared his fear of finding more matcha dishes in the market soon. He said if the rage of matcha continues like this, then we might soon get dishes like matcha biryani, matcha chawal, matcha barfi, matcha rabri, matchagulle.
