Before Travelling Get Your Yellow Fever Vaccine

Tropical regions of Africa, Central America, and South America are all endemic to the virus. It may happen that visitors to regions where yellow fever is endemic bring the illness back with them. To avoid this, many nations demand confirmation of the yellow fever vaccine before they grant a visa or permit admission or re-entry.

India has already asked all travellers travelling from yellow fever endemic countries to get vaccinated before coming to India. Two weeks ago, the passengers from Sudan were quarantined for six days as they travelled to India without the  vaccine.

Twitter was filled with tweets from people who were denied entry or were quarantined by their destination countries for not having the yellow fever vaccine.
