Indian Couple Breaks Down Cost Of 15-Day Europe Trip; Spent ₹6.85 Lakh On Travel, Stay & Food

Indian couple Megha and Shubham (@the12absproject) recently shared a breakdown of their Europe trip expenses on their social media handle. The family of three revealed how much their 15-day Europe trip actually cost. During their journey, they travelled across Amsterdam, Belgium, and Italy.

They first revealed their biggest expenses, starting with flights, visa, and insurance, which cost them around ₹2.1 lakh. The couple also shared that their accommodation cost was relatively lower at ₹95,000. They explained that they stayed with their cousin in Amsterdam and with a friend in Rome. For travel within Europe, including trains, flights, trams, buses, and cabs, they spent around ₹80,000. Food and drinks turned out to be another major expense, with the couple spending nearly ₹1.85 lakh.

What Are The Other Expenses?

The couple further explained their expenses in detail. They revealed that their day trips to Lake Como, the Colosseum, the Vatican, and several other sightseeing spots cost them around ₹75,000. Their miscellaneous expenses, which included souvenirs, snacks, and other small purchases, came to about ₹40,000. With all expenses combined, their total Europe trip cost stood at ₹6.85 lakh.

They also mentioned that although the European trip was expensive, they would still love to visit this beautiful destination again. This post revealing their entire Europe bill has gone viral online, and many users have asked for the complete itinerary.
