1. Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is located at a few minutes drive from Dubai Mall. With more than 20,000 birds of 67 species, it is also a famous spot to check out the flock of flamingos. The Wildlife Sanctuary is open from 9 AM to 4 PM, Saturday to Thursday, and entrance is free.

2. Iranian Mosque, Bur Dubai

Nestled in the area of Textile Souk, this beautiful mosque is also known as Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque. The building is embellished with intricate blue tiles and is surely worth a visit.

3. Al Ain Oasis

This is no ordinary place, it is, in fact, the UAE’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Scattered over 3000 acres, the oasis is one of the world’s oldest inhabited settlements, dating back more than 4000 years. It has beautiful tranquil pathways with an abundance of palm trees that are a delight to watch.

4. Al Wathba Wetland Reserve

At a 45-minute drive from Abu Dhabi, Al Wathba Wetland Reserve is famous for its water bodies, salt flats and dunes. It’s majorly known for flamingos that bred there for the first time in 1998. And in fact, until now it’s the only site in the UAE where the birds continue to breed regularly.

5. Stairway To Heaven, Ras Al Khaimah

The breathtaking mountain trail located  Wadi Ghalilah near the Oman border is only for experienced climbers. And making it up the 1900 metres to the top will surely make you appreciate nature a bit more.

6. Snoopy Island, Fujairah

Snoopy Island is marine heaven and offers some of the best snorkelling. Turtles, fishes, and even tiny white tip reef sharks have made this sparkling sea their home.

7. Hatta Dam
