All aboard the Puffing Billy’s Train Of Lights to have a serene adventure through the darkened depths of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria. This unmissable and charming train ride is in operation from June 28 to July 21 and commences at 6 PM sharp. The journey begins from Lakeside Station to Gembrook and then back at Lakeside Station with a beautiful display of captivating light shows, the moment dusk falls.
This enchanting train journey in Australia is brought to you by an epic collaboration between Puffing Billy Railway and Resolution X (a lighting production company). You can witness the magic unfold from the open-side carriages which also travel on the historic narrow-gauge track. The dazzling colourful lights with mesmerising patterns come alive in the darkness of the forests!
The symmetrical illusions captivate you as only the neon lights on the outer region of the steam train and the lights from the light show illuminate the area. It is an exciting and unique experience you can book tickets, especially if you have kids.

Puffing Billy’s Train Of Lights has organised a halt of about 55 minutes at the picturesque Gembrook Station. Here, passengers can relish a delicious cup of hot chocolate and other delights like the Puffing Billy’s picnic box. Gather around an open fire pit and enjoy a lively musical performance by a musician and then explore the gift shop and souvenirs.
Do indulge in the sizzling sausages by the Rotary Club of Emerald and District and lastly, snap a picture with the popular Train Of Lights and its volunteers.
