South Western Railway Starts Operating Special Trains For Diwali
Getting train tickets at the last moment can be difficult based on the spike in demand during Diwali. Do not wait anymore and start looking for tickets ASAP.
Starting October 14, South Western Railway is operating a special train between Karnataka’s SSS Hubballi and Uttarakhand’s Yog Nagari Rishikesh stations. Here is all the necessary information about these routes.
- The special journey from SSS Hubballi on train No. 07363 will start at 8:30 PM on Mondays. The journey will end on Wednesdays at 11:30 PM. This will continue till November 4, according to a report by The Financial Express.
- The return trip will be conducted on train No. 07364. The journey from Yog Nagari Rishikesh to SSS Hubballi will start on October 17. Trains on this route will run till November 7. This train will depart from the origin station at 6:15 AM on Thursdays and reach its destination at 6:30 AM every Saturday.
- Stoppage stations between SSS Hubballi and Yog Nagari Rishikesh stations are Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Pune, Gwalior, Mathura, Hazrat Nizamuddin, and Haridwar.
- These two special trains have 16 coaches. There are options for AC-2 tier, AC-3 tier, sleeper class coaches, and a SLRD coach.
About Special Trains Between Bengaluru & Jodhpur
South Western Railway is launching special trains between Bengaluru’s Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal and Jodhpur’s Bhagat Ki Kothi stations.
- Train No. 06587 will carry passengers from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal to Bhagat Ki Kothi on October 25 and 30. The trip will begin at 5:45 PM on both days.
- To return to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal from Bhagat Ki Kothi, train No. 06588 will carry travellers on October 28 and November 2. The journey will kickstart at 5 AM.
- Both these trains with 21 coaches will halt at Banaswadi, Tumakuru, Davangere, Pune, Surat, Vadodara, and Abu Road stations.
