This saddening news of Menaka Irani’s demise comes a few days after she celebrated her 79th birthday. Farah Khan had posted a slew of pictures with her mother on social media. In the heartwarming post, Farah was seen holding her mother’s hand as the duo smiled for the camera. Another picture was a nostalgic monochrome shot.

The director mentioned how she took her mother for granted, just like many. And the last month was a revelation of how much she loved her mom Menaka. She called her mother the strongest and bravest person she had ever seen. Furthermore, she wrote her mother kept her sense of humour intact despite multiple surgeries. She welcomed her mom home.
She Was Last Seen On Farah’s YouTube Channel
Menaka Irani was last seen on Farah Khan’s YouTube channel. The octogenarian was seen in her candid best while bantering with her daughter Farah and her cook Dilip. The director-choreographer was seen preparing her mother’s Keema Matar recipe with her cook Dilip as Menaka supervised the cooking and gave instructions.
Fans of the YouTube channel were delighted to get a glimpse of Menaka who proved that Farah was a chip of the old block when it came to her sense of humour. During the episode, Farah revealed that her mother was featured in her debut film Main Hoon Na. A quick blink-and-miss scene shows Menaka Irani as a librarian, shocked to see Zayed Khan’s character Lucky enter the library for the first time.
