IAS Officer Shares Picture Of Trash Inside Vande Bharat Express, Netizens React

Recently, some days ago, the newly operational Vande Bharat Express from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam was found filled with trash. Looking at this, the railway authorities appealed to the passengers to keep the prestigious train clean. But it looks like people did not really pay any heed to the request by the authorities. An IAS officer shared a picture of trash inside the Vande Bharat Express this morning, here is how the netizens reacted to it.

Trash Inside Vande Bharat Express

This morning, an IAS officer shared a picture of trash lying on the floor of the coach of the Vande Bharat Express on his Twitter handle. Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer Awanish Sharan wrote ‘We the people’ in the caption while sharing the picture on the internet. The picture showed used glasses, water bottles, open packets of food, and plastics all scattered on the floor. A worker with a broom can also be spotted in the picture.

The picture received comments from netizens, but they had different views. Some said that this might be the picture from the pantry after the train reached its destination, which is bound to be a bit untidy after serving people. Other users spoke about how people don’t know their responsibilities and duties but expect all the facilities and good infrastructure from their country.

Attitude And Mindset Needs To Change

When pictures from the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express went viral, the Divisional Railway Manager, Anup Sarathy, requested the passengers keep the coaches clean and use dustbins for any disposals. He correctly stated that the act of cleanliness entails keeping yourself and your surroundings clean. The motto “Swachch Bharat” can be achieved only when citizens start taking responsibility.

The attitude and mindset of the people need to change, he said. He said that people showed no responsibility while handling the amazing facilities that the train offers. Anup appealed to the people to cooperate with the railways and help them serve passengers better in the future. “Don’t be bitter, stop litter”

The newly launched and indigenously designed Vande Bharat Express promises to provide commuters with a more comfortable, convenient, and quick travel experience with amazing facilities.
