Ahmedabad’s Rokadiya Bhajiya Serves Unique Oreo Pakodas

There have been plenty of food trends that left you questioning, why they even exist. From Maggi Milkshake, Kaju Katli Soup, Strawberry Samosa, Gulab Jamun Pizza and the list goes on. Oreo Pakodas served at “Rokadiya Bhajiya” street food stall in Ahmedabad might top the list.  Food vlogger Amar Sirohi recently posted a video on ‘Foodie Incarnate’ about this Oreo Pakodas. In the video, the street food vendor is seen preparing a batter from gram flour, salt and baking powder. The vendor then dunks Oreo biscuits in it and fries them in hot oil.

Oreo Pakodas Served Here Since 20 Years

The video garnered over 89,000 views. In fact, the Oreo Pakodas are famous among children, who’ve been frequenting the stall for the past 15 to 20 years. Call it Oreo Pakodas, Oreo Bhajiyas or Oreo Fritters, one thing is for sure, they certainly have a good demand in Ahmedabad. The golden fluffy fritters are served with chillies and tamarind chutney.
