Nestled just 3 hours away from Bangalore, in the city of Mysore, stands Frosting; a cafe that recently made it to my favourites list. Frosting In Mysore Has A Fairytale Like Ambience
Perched in the residential area of Gokulam, Frosting welcomes you with twinkling golden lights and a warm embrace, from the wood-fired oven. The open-air Italian cafe has been helmed by a woman entrepreneur Aparna Ranga. A white Mysore villa and a private garden has been transformed into an alfresco Italian cafe.
Fairy lights are the secret ingredients behind the romantic vibes of Frosting. Potted plants, wooden tables and chairs and a wall covered with oil paintings enhance the charm of this space. On a breezy evening, you can sit on the lawn near the wood-fire oven and on a rainy day, relax indoors, admiring the wall adorned with floral paintings.

Enjoy Freshly Baked Pizzas & Exquisite Wine
The alluring named cafe boasts of top-notch Italian, Continental and fusion Indian cuisines. Visit here for breakfast, and you can indulge in the great English Breakfast of scrambled eggs, toasts, pastries, cereals, freshly brewed coffee and more. But with the wood-fire oven crackling on a chilly night, you can’t help but order a freshly baked sourdough pizza, right out of the oven.
From the Mediterranean, Greek, Vegan to Paneer Tikka, there’s a lot to choose from. The pizzas are cheesy, filled with veggies and are extremely airy and light. The extensive menu also includes an array of fresh salads, soups and appetizers from across the globe.
