Egypt Visa for Indians
All Indian nationals are required to take a visa prior to their visit to Egypt. Visa on arrival is not available for Indian citizens. You will have to fill out an online visa application form and also pay the fees online for the same. After the online visa application form is completely filled, visit the nearest embassy for documents verification and further process. The processing time for Egypt visa is between 5 to 8 weeks. Egypt Visa Processing Time
Egypt visa takes at least 6-7 working days to process. But I suggest applying for your Egypt visa at least two-three weeks prior to your visit as the process might get delayed if you miss out on any important document.
Types Of Egypt Visa
Before filling out the online application, you will have to understand what kind of visa you require. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you will select a particular type. For this visa, you will not be required to give an interview for at the embassy, an interview is only required for individuals who have not travelled in the past.
Tourist Visa
This type of visa is applicable to individuals who want to visit Egypt for tourism purposes. The validity of this visa is up to 30 days.

Business Visa
Business visa is for individuals who want to visit Egypt for business purposes, interviews, conferences or workshops. The validity of the business visa is up to 30 days.
Business visa: ₹ 2900
Multiple entries: ₹ 4000
Transit Visa
Transit visa is for individuals who have a connecting flight from Egypt to other countries. A visa will not be required for transit provided you do not leave the airport premises. But to be very sure confirm it with the nearest embassy before planning your trip.

Documents Required Egypt Visa
– Original passport and old passports (Validity of 6 months)
– 2 Passport size photographs (With a white background and must be clicked recently)
– Printouts of first and last page of your passport
– Travel Itinerary along with proof of stay, hotel bookings, the purpose of visit and duration.
– Income Tax Returns of the last 3 years
– Financial Statements, bank records, all bank record for the last 6 months verified by the bank

Employment Documents
For people travelling on Business trips, you will require additional documents like a letter from their office stating the reason, a letter from the company that you will be doing business with they must mention the purpose of business, invite you to their company and also mention what the nature of business will be.
For Employed individuals – A letter of leave that is approved from the office or a NOC from the employer.
For Students or Children travelling without a guardian – A letter from their parents or guardians allowing them to travel. They must have ID proof, a certificate from school/college that allows their visit, proof of their relationship with the parents or guardians.
