Louisiana Teens Call 911 For Rescue; Report Sighting Bigfoot With ‘Glowing Eyes’ In Kisatchie National Forest

A recent camping trip in Louisiana’s vast Kisatchie National Forest transformed into a night of terror for a group of teenagers. Fresh out of high school and celebrating their graduation, the group, all aged 17 and 18, claimed to have encountered a bigfoot in the Louisiana forest.

The unsettling incident unfolded shortly after they set up camp roughly a mile and a half off Back Bone Trail. According to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office, panic erupted around 9:20 pm on June 28 when one member of the group dialled 911. Their frantic report described a horrifying encounter – a growl tearing through the stillness of the night, followed by the sight of a creature with glowing eyes standing around five feet tall.

Responding swiftly, deputies ventured into the forest to reach the campsite. While their search yielded no concrete evidence of the “growling, glowing-eyed” creature, their primary concern was the teenagers’ well-being. The deputies safely escorted the shaken group out of the forest.

The Legend Of The Bigfoot

This encounter adds another chapter to the ongoing mystery surrounding mysterious creatures in Kisatchie National Forest. Back in 2019, two self-proclaimed Bigfoot researchers, Tex-La and Claude (who preferred anonymity to avoid ridicule), claimed to have captured evidence of the elusive cryptid within the forest’s dense, 600,000-acre expanse.

Tex-La and Claude deployed camouflaged cameras and audio recorders, amassing hours of footage and recordings. Among the captured sounds were what they believed to be loud howls. Their investigation also yielded potential physical evidence – footprints and other signs, like twisted tree limbs, that they attributed to Bigfoot activity.

Tex-La insisted it was a simple fact, undeniable regardless of your belief. He stressed the importance of an open mind in approaching the situation.

The legend of Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, has deep roots in Native American folklore. Sightings of this ape-like creature have been reported by European settlers in North America since the 1800s. The recent incident in Kisatchie National Forest fuels the fire of this enduring legend, leaving the question lingering: fact or fiction?
