2. Visit The Tibetan Institute Of Performing Arts

The Tibetian Institute of Performing Arts or TIPA was established by His Holiness, The Dalai Lama and is just 1 km away from the Mcleodganj bus stand. Today, TIPA is one of the foremost cultural institutions focusing on traditional Tibetan dance, music, culture, art and folk opera. Visitors from across the world enjoy cultural shows at TIPA.

3. Trek At Triund

Mcleodganj’s highlight, other than the rich culture, would be trekking. One of the most famous places is the Triund, a 9km trekking trail of 9000 feet range that will surely quench your wanderlust. This trek is for everyone, from experienced to novices and will offer the breathtaking view of the Kangra valley. 4. Pray At Tsug La Khang

Unanimously said to be one of the best places in Mcleodganj, Tsug La Khang is famous as it is the sanctuary of the Dalai Lama. This is one of the must-see places in Mcleodganj. Also, we should mention that the Namgyal Monastery is one of the biggest Tibetan monasteries which was supposed to be the home of the Dalai Lama. 6. Explore The Church of Saint John

This Church complex was built in 1852 and its selling point is the neo-gothic architecture. The Church of Saint John in the Wilderness stands in a grove of old Deodars not far from the main city. Also, the Church grounds are open to all visitors and offer a scenic spot for yours truly. Travel all the way to the mid-19th century at this tranquil landscape.
