It was recently revealed that Abu Dhabi is going to become the first city in the region where Archer Aviation’s Midnight flying taxi will be launched. As announced on Thursday, the ADA has signed a deal with this US-based electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) manufacturer. As it happens, ADA has become the company’s first global launch edition customer.
2. UAE Food Bank Partners With National Initiative To Reduce Food Loss & Waste

Recently, the UAE Food Bank announced its partnership with the national initiative to reduce food loss and waste. This partnership aims to enhance support for vulnerable groups. Not to mention, it aims to contribute towards environmental sustainability. They plan to do so by organising pioneering initiatives, which aim to manage surplus food, reduce food waste, and deliver it to the largest possible number of target segments in the country.

Transporting 48,000 customers in a single day, the Hermen high-speed railway has set the Ramadan record. Yes, ever since its inauguration in 2018, the railway transported 48,000 passengers on the 15th day of Ramadan. The average daily ridership has exceeded 39,000 passengers, which reflects the high demand for the train.

4. Improvements On Dubai-Hatta Road Completed

The Dubai RTA announced the completion of road improvement works on the road, which approaches the Hatta Souq Roundabout. Yes, as a part of its ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure, the project aims to improve traffic flow, enhance road safety, and reduce travel time. This improvement included the construction of a new one-kilometre service road that would run parallel to the main Dubai-Hatta Road.

A yellow fog alert has been issued for parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai this morning. Yes, the National Centre of Meteorology mentioned how there is deterioration in horizontal visibility, which could lead to further drops at times. In fact, the weather is expected to be between 24° to 29°C when talking about the highest temperature.
